Privacy Policy

Who is responsible

This policy describes how Lyra: Sci-Fi Arena Shooter handles information when you play the game, use purchases or advertising features, or contact support. The developer is Yanchen Zhao. Contact tonyzhao1947@gmail.com for privacy questions or requests.

Gameplay and information on your device

The game provides local matches against computer-controlled opponents. Game settings and match results are stored on your device to provide gameplay and remember your preferences. You do not need to create a separate game account to play local matches. Device backups may preserve app data according to your Apple settings.

Purchases

Apple processes the one-time purchase that permanently removes advertisements. The app uses Apple StoreKit to check verified purchase status and restore the entitlement. We do not receive your payment card details or Apple Account password. Apple processes purchase and account information under its own privacy policy. Removing ads does not remove the need to verify or restore your purchase with Apple.

Advertising and privacy choices

The free version is intended to support advertisements through Google AdMob. Where advertising is available, Google and advertising partners may process IP addresses and approximate location, device or app identifiers, ad impressions and interactions, and diagnostic or performance information. These support ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and service operation. The data and use depend on your device permissions, region and privacy choices.

We use Google's User Messaging Platform to obtain and manage relevant privacy choices. It may process approximate location, interactions with consent messages and diagnostic information to present the appropriate choices. Where available, open Settings → General → Privacy Choices to review or change your choices. Declining consent does not prevent local gameplay; advertising is limited or skipped according to the applicable choices and SDK requirements. The app requests Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission in the main menu before starting advertising services when iOS has not yet recorded a choice. If you authorize tracking and your regional privacy choices permit it, our advertising partner may use the device advertising identifier (IDFA) for advertising measurement across apps and websites owned by other companies. If tracking permission is denied or restricted, advertisements may still be shown, subject to regional privacy requirements; Google Mobile Ads does not send IDFA without tracking authorization. The app requests non-personalized ads and disables publisher privacy personalization and Google's publisher first-party ID. You can manage tracking permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Declining tracking does not prevent local gameplay or grant the paid ad-removal entitlement. Non-personalized advertising still involves data processing for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention; it does not mean that no information is collected.

After a verified permanent ad-removal purchase, the app stops requesting and showing new advertisements and discards cached ads. This does not automatically delete information already processed by Google or Apple.

Read how Google uses information from partner apps and Google's privacy policy. Apple's handling of information is described in Apple's privacy policy.

Optional play reminders and ratings

If you choose to enable Play Reminders, iOS asks for notification permission. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device after a few days away; the app does not register for remote push notifications or send a notification device token to our server. Returning to the app clears pending reminders. You can turn reminders off in Settings → General → Play Reminders or manage notification permission in iOS Settings. Your reminder preference and the dates needed for scheduling stay on your device.

The app may request an App Store rating after completed matches. Match counts, relevant dates and previous request attempts are stored locally to limit how often it asks. The request uses Apple's system rating interface; Apple decides whether to display it and processes any rating or review you submit. We do not receive your response through the in-app rating prompt.

Support and diagnostics

If you contact us, we receive the address you write from, the content of your message and any screenshots or diagnostic details you choose to provide. We use these to respond, investigate problems and address privacy requests. Please do not send account passwords or full payment card details. Platform and advertising services may separately process diagnostics under their policies.

Storage, sharing and retention

Local settings and results remain on your device until changed or removed, subject to device backup behavior. Deleting the app can remove its local data but does not cancel or erase an Apple purchase. We keep support correspondence only as needed to handle the request, maintain necessary records and meet applicable obligations. Service providers apply their own retention controls to information they process; see the linked policies and their privacy request tools.

Information may be processed outside your country by service providers. We do not operate a public player profile or publish your support correspondence. Advertising-related disclosures are described above; they should not be interpreted as a promise that no information is shared with advertising providers.

Your choices and requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of personal information, object to certain uses, withdraw consent, or opt out of certain advertising-related sharing. Contact us at the address above for information we handle. We may need reasonable information to verify a request. For information handled independently by Google or Apple, their linked policies explain available controls and request methods. You may also contact your local data protection authority where applicable.

Children and age suitability

The game contains simulated combat. Check the age rating shown for your region on the App Store. Parents or guardians who have questions about information associated with a child can contact us using the email above. Please avoid sending unnecessary identifying details about a child.
